James 1:27
While I was in Africa in 2022, God really touched my heart. I prayed about it and God gave me the scripture: "Pure religion and undefiled before God and The Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." (James 1:27).
God spoke to me through a dream and He gave me the Ministry "Five Loaves". So when I came back from Africa we started this sister ministry under the Fishers Of Men Halifax Ministry.
What God was speaking through me, is people are so focused on discipleship, healing the sick, casting out demons and doing all these amazing things which are very good. But there is not a lot of focus on the other side of it, which is helping the poor, fatherless, widows, visiting those in prison etc. So we still will be making disciples, casting out demons, deliverances, healing the sick, training people to do all these things etc. but also we will be focusing now on helping the poor, widows, orphans etc.
We did it in the background and we didn't want to advertise it as the Bible says: Don't let the right hand know what the left hand is doing. So we are not doing this to promote ourselves and get pride in what we are doing. But so that we can raise more funds for these poor people. In our strength we can do nothing, we can't do it on our own but with God, we can do so much! So please let us know if God lays on your heart to support this cause. We are the hands and feet of Jesus and are called to help the poor, orphans and widows.
The people with who we are working in Africa are the people who we personally met and we know and we trust them. There are quite a few different people. We also started a church in Uganda and we are in contact with them all the time, supporting them and teaching them. We also are working with pastor Eyalu Selan and doing great work with the orphans and widows. Getting the orphans in the school, helping with the healthcare needs of widows and orphans and most importantly - helping to spread the gospel. We are also supporting our Sister in Christ Ester who has 150 street children and she is feeding hundreds of children every single week. you can watch her testimony here: https://youtu.be/tDcFq5fEdws
I went to Uganda, Africa in 2022 together with other Disciples. While we were there, we did a lot of work there with orphans, and widows, also in prisons. We did the best we could at that time. This year, we were hoping to go again, but, unfortunately, plans had changed as we have some difficult times in our family at the moment. God willing, we will be able to go next year. But we still will send all the donations to the people in Africa we trust and we know. Also, we will try to gather pictures and testimonies for you so that you see where the money has gone.
100% of all funds we raise go straight to people in Africa. We can guarantee any funds that will be raised will be going directly to them. None of the donations will be paying for our flights or food or accommodation etc. For all that we will pay ourselves. But we need your help to bless as many people as we can in Africa. When you donate, please add a note or reference in a few words saying what this money is for, if you want to be specific.
This is not one of the charities where people make wages out of it and I'm not asking for any money for myself. All the money goes straight to these people in need.
God Bless You!
Any amount will help. Even if it's only £5 or £10. It means a lot to them.
£5 equals 23,282.08 Ugandan Shillings.
£5 may not seem that much but it is a lot to people in Africa. And if 20 people donate £5 each, then it all together makes £100! And £100 is 465,720.00 Ugandan Shillings! Think about it.
We are not asking money for ourselves or our ministry. I'm a hard-working man and I have a full-time job.
100% of all the donations that we will receive will go straight to Africa. God Bless You!
Please watch and share. Together we can make their lives better. All glory to God.
Thanks to all supporters we were able to help Ester and 150 children with food and accommodation costs. The first £1000 we collected we sent to Ester because God told us so. Thank you for your help. It was just at the right time. You can see a video about it here. We apologise for the quality of some of these videos, but they don't have a good connection or good phones in Africa.
We sent £1700 of your donations to 30 widows. Each widow got 200 thousand Ugandan shillings. (200 thousand Ugandan Shillings is approximately a month's wage in Uganda). Some of the money also went to support 6 pastors and their families who are helping these widows. They were very very much thankful.
In this video, Pastor Eyalu Selen and his wife are counting the money to give to widows. We know these people personally and we know we can trust them. We sent the money to distribute to widows and also some for themselves. They have children and some of this money will help their son Isaac with school fees.
There are 6 pastors altogether who are helping the widows and orphans.
This mother is saying in a way of prayers: from the time her husband died she has not got the money equivalent to this money she got blessed with. She was lacking money to buy the seeds, food for her children, uniforms for the children etc. She is thanking God for this and thanking people who are helping.
This is another widow saying nobody has given her a blessing like this before. She is saying God bless everyone who donated and God bless the Five Loaves Ministry.
God stirred up the hearts of widows. They are very happy. They said they will be praying for the Five Loaves Ministry. One widow said Five Loaves Ministry has become their husband again. Because their husbands used to give them money to go to shop in the market but after their death, nobody gave them money. We all have touched their hearts. Thank you!
I met this woman personally when I visited Uganda in 2022. She was dragging herself on the ground because she can't walk, and still helping the orphans. We prayed for her but unfortunately. she didn't get healed. At that time we couldn't afford to get her a wheelchair for her but I promised her when I will go back to the UK I will start a charity and will try to help her. So finally with God's help and with your help we could get her a wheelchair and give her a financial blessing also. Praise God!
This is the very first boy to get the blessing of sponsorship and school fees. He was once a Muslim but was led to salvation through our mission in Soroti in 2022. His parents rejected him and refused to pay school fees for him when he turned to Jesus. Our prayers are that through him many others will get the same blessing.
Fishers Of Men Church in Uganda thanked everyone who helped and sent the donations. Feeding the church.
Pastor Eyalu Selen and other pastors are in charge of helping widows and orphans in Uganda.
Thanks to everyone who are helping these beautiful children in Uganda.
This pastor and his wife are in charge of supporting the widows and a few orphans in Uganda. Glory to God.
We tried to send this letter to all the people who donated but we can't find all the emails so I'll post it here:
Hello!
We would like to thank you for your kind donation to widows and orphans in Africa. It helped a lot. All together we raised over £3000! All that money went straight away to orphans and widows through the people we know personally and we know we can trust them. Not one penny did we take for ourselves.
When I was in Africa, Uganda last year, I made some connections there and I am constantly in contact with those people. They are sending me videos and updates about where the money goes. I prayed and the Holy Spirit has shown us who to work with. So, I can assure you all the money is in good hands.
I was hoping to go to Africa this year. That is why I was collecting all this money. So that I can go there myself and bless those people in need. (I planned to pay for my own accommodation and flights. I would not spend any donated money on myself). But my plans changed because of the circumstances in our family. My wife had some health problems and now we all are recovering mentally and spiritually. But God is with us and He is helping us to get through this difficult time. So, we decided to just have some quality family time this summer instead, because we have been very busy with Ministry work recently. Maybe I still will go in autumn. But all is in God’s hands and in God’s perfect timing.
But I did not want that money just to “sit” in my account and wait so I sent it out straight away to people who needs it. God gave me visions and dreams and He confirmed where and how much to each person should I send. Widows and orphans are very thankful and they are very blessed. Thanks to God and to you!
I am writing to you to kindly ask if you would like to become a monthly supporter. We have not got any more financial blessings coming in since the beginning of June but these people still need food and everything else. We do not have a charity organisation or a business account because we do not want any organisation or business to receive the fees from our donations. We want 100% of all the money to go to Uganda. But it’s easy to set up a Direct Debit from your banking app. When you make a payment, you have usually two options there: 1) One off payment and 2) Set up monthly. If you set it up as a monthly payment then the amount you choose will go out of your account straight to our account every month on the same date. And you can cancel it or change it on your banking app at any time with no fees. So, it is very safe and very easy. And you can choose any amount you want. It doesn’t matter if it’s £100 or £5 – it will still be a blessing to them.
We can guarantee 100% of all the money will go to people in need in Uganda. (I am a hardworking man and I work full time. I do not use donated money on myself or my family unless somebody actually says the Lord told them to bless us which has happened in the past.) But we do not just send them the money. We also make sure they know where the money comes from - God first and people who donated (we do not give out your names or any other personal information unless you want us to do so because they have been asking for names so that they can include you in their prayers). We make sure the gospel is preached and we are telling them to thank God, not us.
We are trying to update all the information regularly on our website but we have not made any updates recently because my wife had some health problems and she has been resting. She is the one who sorts everything out on the website etc. You can check out what we are doing through Five Loaves Ministry here.
Please pray about it and if God lays on your heart to be a part of this then you can send the blessing to my account:

If you want to get involved with helping these orphans and widows you can donate through this website. Please contact us if you are struggling to understand how to contribute. You can do it through our PayPal account, or bank transfer, cash or cheque etc. You can also help by sending us some Bibles.
If you want to support orphans, widows or the church in Africa monthly, you can do so through us or we can give you direct contact details of these people and you can do it yourself. This is not one of the charities where people make wages out of it and I'm not asking for any money for myself. All the money goes straight to these people in need.

Some people might think they can't afford to donate. But then they go to the shop and spend £5 on sweets, fizzy drinks, burgers, cigarettes... and similar things that are not good for them anyway. £5 may not seem that much but it is a lot to people in Africa. And if 20 people donate £5 each then it all together makes £100! And £100 is 465,720.00 Ugandan Shillings! Think about it. And pray about it.
God Bless You!
P.S. If you donate through PayPal, please choose the option "Family and Friends", otherwise PayPal is collecting a fee from a donation.
